TranZformer 2nd Gen Shift Kit/Line Lock Kit for the NAG1 by Z Automotive

Have your NAG1 transmission shift how YOU want it to. With TranZformer, you get to modify shift firmness that fits your driving style/mood, plus a whole lot more!

TranZformer Gen 2 installs in minutes, connecting via wiretaps into 6 or 8 wires all hidden behind the steering column lower cover.

Once installed, TranZformer will modify transmission parameters for that real "old school" muscle car shift kit feel. Chirp through gear shifts or just firm them up a little for towing or for track use- your choice. Use your steering wheel buttons and EVIC screen to adjust shift firmness on-the-fly, whenever you want. Or connect to your PC via USB cable, and you can dial in independent upshift and downshift boost percentages (0 to 100) for each gear in both Drive and AutoStick mode. Reduces the time delay when shifting into Reverse and Drive as well. You also can adjust shift firmness scaling based on throttle position. TranZformer allows you to reset TCM's adaptive learning system, keeping the TCM from dialing back the shift firmness over time.

Z Automotive Programming Utility (for Windows PCs only) allows you to program shift parameters, view status, update firmware, and more.

Steering Wheel shifting(SWS): 

Allows you to use your steering wheel's cruise+/- buttons to manually control gear shift while keeping your hands on the wheel. SWS mode is enabled after placing the vehicle in AutoStick mode using the console shifter. Once in Autostick, use the cruise buttons to shift (only when cruise control is turned off)! This feature can be enabled or disabled at any time using the steering wheel buttons.

AutoUpshift: 

Set your own shift points when in AutoStick - Usingsteering wheel buttons or ZPU Utility, dial in any RPM for upshifts in AutoStick mode - perfect for high-power high-revving track use. This feature requires that stock TCM is programmed to not upshift on its own, generally via a Diablosport tuner (currently Diablosport does NOT have this ability to turn off Autoupshift in 2011+, so this feature isn't very useful YET. Keep asking Diablosport to add that in!)

Line Lock: 

Press the cruise control cancel button while stopped in Autostick, and the ABS valves will hold the vehicle with the front brakes so you can hit the gas and do a perfect burnout as long as you wish, with no wear on the rear brakes. No plumbing required! This is a perfect alternative to the traditional plumbed-in solenoid type line lock.

Light Show: 

Using steering wheel buttons and added dash menu, turn on a light show that flashes the exterior lights in 6 different patterns. Perfect for car shows. User configurable in firmware version 2.1.8.

Peak RPM Display: 

Will display actual shift RPMs after each shift - great when adjusting Autoupshift to squeeze every last bit out of that high revving cam, or to check what RPM you hit when shifting manually.

0 to 30 and 0 to 60 Timer : Will display 0 to 30 and 0 to 60 times on EVIC display.

Reset Adaptives: 

Will reset TCM adaptives any time you wish with a simple push of the "BACK" and cruise on/off buttons.

Shift kit on/off: 

Press the ESP button twice and the transmission's shift firmness will revert to stock. All other functions remain active and at your disposal.

ESP full on/off: 

Press and hold the ESP button for 7 seconds to TOTALLY disable the ESP, ABS systems. Press and hold again to turn it back on.

Force AWD modes: 

On AWD models, force the AWD system to stay in RWD or AWD, instead of letting the car decide on its own. Good for racing, drifting, etc. Or set it back to "normal" whenever you wish.

Feature enable: 

The Tazer can enable factory Sport Mode, SRT EVIC Performance pages, and SRT performance pages* in the Uconnect radio. Enable paddle shifters if you add the factory paddle-equipped steering wheel. Enable factory fog lights and backup camera. Disable in-motion navigation lockout. Set full-off police lighting feature. Sport mode and performance pages enable is 2012-2014 only.

TranZformer 2nd Gen is available for 2011-2014 Charger and 300. It will work with stock transmissions/TCMs, and modified transmissions/TCMs, like the Mopar TCM, Blue Top solenoids, BB Valve bodies, Paramount/SHR Transmissions, etc.

INSTALLATION IS A SIMPLE MATTER OF SQUEEZING T-TAPS ON TO 8 VEHICLE HARNESS WIRES, AND PLUGGING THE TRANZFORMER HARNESS INTO THOSE T-TAPS. Check out the installation manual on the left side of this page!
